JOB DESCRIPTION:
Riggers :
1 Shall have basic knowledge of rigging jobs.
2 Shall have basic knowledge of slinging methods, signaling and coordination with heavy
equipment operators.
3 Shall have minimum 8 years’ experience of working as rigger.
4 Knowledge of various rigging tools and tackles, maintenance procedure and safety
requirement of rigging tools.
5 Shall have acceptable knowledge of English.
6 Shall have certification for Level III rigger.
Welders :
1 Welders shall be qualified as per ASME SEC IX (6G) for carbon steel and shall hold a valid
welder card issued by a reputable third-party agency. He should be able to perform high
pressure welding of X ray quality.
2 GMAW (MIG) and GTAW (TIG) welders are mandatory. Welders should have experience in
welding of austenitic / duplex steels / dissimilar steels, Chrome Moly. Steels and cast Irons.
3 Shall have ability to understand results of nondestructive tests like dye penetration,
X- Ray and ultrasonic tests.
4 Shall be skilled in air arcing or gouging and gas cutting.
5 Shall be able to work climb and work at elevated and confined spaces.
6 Should have knowledge and experience of gas cutting and plasma cutting jobs,
7 Shall be able to select welding consumables and follow welding procedure as per job
requirement.
8 Shall pass MPC Workshop qualification interview and welder’s test.
9 Shall have acceptable English (Spoken. written and reading).
10 Shall have minimum 8-10 years’ experience as welder in chemical fertilizer plant.
11 For Saudi employees 2 years industrial diploma in welders trade will be minimum
requirement. Experienced candidates will have added advantage.
Fabricators:
1 Shall have industrial high school diploma as mandatory requirement.
2 Shall have 8-10 years of minimum experience as fabricator in steel, process industry.
3 Shall be able to read engineering drawings, perform simple workshop calculations
and prepare material take off list.
4 Shall be able to fabricate various engineering items as per drawings/samples.
5 Shall pass MPC Workshop qualification interview.
6 Shall have acceptable level of spoken, reading and written English.
7 Shall be able to do gas cutting, tack welding and grinding work.
8 Shall be able to climb and work on elevated areas and work in extreme hot conditions.
9 Shall be able to read/interpret isometric drawings, identify materials and fittings, supports and
prepare bill of material.
10 For Saudi employees 2 years industrial diploma in fabricator trade. Fabrication Experience of
1-2 years will be added advantage.
Machinist:
1 Shall have basic technical knowledge and experience.
2 Shall have related work experience to operate lathe, milling, drilling, grinding, sawing and
shaping machines.
3 Shall have acceptable English (Spoken).
4 Shall have knowledge of reading machining drawings and symbols.
5 Shall have basic knowledge of fits and tolerances.
6 Shall pass MPC workshop qualification interview.
7 Shall have minimum 8-10 years’ experience in machining work.
8 For Saudi employees 2 years diploma in industrial machines with 1-2 years’ experience in
operation of workshop machines
