JOB DESCRIPTION:
Mechanical Supervisor
1 Shall have diploma / Degree in mechanical engineering (Min. requirement).
2 Shall have 8-10 years’ experience in continuous process industry preferably in phosphoric
acid and DAP production plants.
3 Shall have strong supervisory background and practical experience in multi craft supervision.
4 Shall be able to read engineering drawings and explain to men working under his direct
supervision.
5 Shall have acceptable knowledge in all maintenance fields and familiarity with maintenance
programs, practice and procedures.
6 Fluent in English (Spoken/Written).
7 Shall have valid driving licenses.
8 Shall pass MPC Workshop qualification interview.
9 Shall be able to prepare reports, time allocation report, and material take off list.
10 Shall have basic computer skills.
11 Shall have good control over people under him and should be able to give proper
training.
Foreman (fabrication)
1 Shall have diploma / Industrial school training in mechanical engineering
2 Shall have 6-8 years’ experience in fabrication work in workshop and in plant of continuous
process industry preferably in chemicals and fertilizer industry.
3 Should have good knowledge of welding, fabrication, various NDT technique, development
of conical, square to round shape and should be familiar with repair of various process
vessels.
4 Shall be able to read engineering drawings and explain to men working under his direct
supervision.
5 Fluent in English (Spoken/Written).
6 Shall pass MPC Workshop qualification interview.
7 Shall be able to prepare reports, time allocation report, and material take off list.
8 Shall have basic computer skills.
9 Shall have good control over people under him and should be able to give proper training.
Should have ability to lead, monitor and supervise team of fabricators, welders pipe fitters
etc.
Foreman (Servicing & Overhauling Rotary Equipment)
1 Shall have diploma /Industrial school training in mechanical engineering
2 Shall have 6-8 years’ experience in service & repair of rotary equipment in workshop and in
plant of continuous process industry preferably in chemicals and fertilizer industry.
3 Should have good knowledge of familiar with service & repair of various process rotary
equipment like pump, gear box, belt conveyor system, bucket elevator, blower, compressor etc.
4 Shall be able to read engineering drawings and explain to men working under his direct
supervision.
5 Shall have acceptable knowledge in all maintenance fields and familiarity with maintenance
programs, practice and procedures.
6 Fluent in English (Spoken/Written).
7 Shall pass MPC Workshop qualification interview.
8 Shall be able to prepare reports, time allocation report, and material take off list.
9 Shall have basic computer skills.
10 Shall have good control over people under him and should be able to give proper
training.
