Job Summary
A FANUC (Fuji Automatic Numerical Control) Operator is a CNC Machine Operatorresponsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining computer-controlledmachines equipped with FANUC CNC controls to produce high-precision componentsin accordance with engineering drawings and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Machine Setup: Prepare and configure CNC welding machines for production,including installing tools, loading materials, and setting machine parameters.
• Operation & Monitoring: Operate CNC machines, monitor feed rates andspeeds, and make adjustments to ensure accurate machining and quality output.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints,and job specifications to translate requirements into machine dimensions andmachining instructions.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished products using precision measuring toolssuch as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure compliance withspecifications.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine machine maintenance andtroubleshoot minor issues to minimize downtime.
• Documentation: Complete production, inspection, and quality control logsaccurately.
• Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workenvironment in compliance with safety regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of machining processes and abilityto operate and maintain CNC machinery.
• Programming Basics: Basic knowledge of CNC programming including G-codes andM-codes; familiarity with CAD/CAM software is an advantage.
• Attention to Detail: High level of precision and attention to detail to meettight tolerances.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze issues and implement correctiveactions during machining processes.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and handle materialsand tooling safely.
• Education & Experience: High school diploma or technical/vocationaltraining in machining or CNC operations with relevant work experiencepreferred.
