Job Description :

Any Degree / Diploma 

1) Prepares transfer notes for the materials to be transferred to respective sites based on the material issue slip with
proper approval.
2) During the material delivery makes sure that the delivered material complies the BOQ, Drawing & Approved
specification and matches with the PO which is being issued and intimates the concerned project manager/engineer
in case of any discrepancy.
3) Makes sure that the materials are being unloaded and stacked safely and in a proper manner.
4) Shall ensure that the DOs and GRN related works are done, on a regular basis as per company policy/norms.
5) Shall periodically check and verify the stock and stock registers for any errors or discrepancies.
6) Accepts the delivery order and creates the GRN in the system.
7) Follow up for the pending materials with the purchase team/project engineers.
8) Follow up with the suppliers for acceptance of damaged materials and issuance of the credit note for the same and
reports to project manager/engineer in case of any dispute with the suppliers in this regard.
9) Coordinates with the Site supervisor for the scheduling of vehicle to the site for transferring the materials.
10) Keep on track of the stock of consumables and informs the project team on the replenishment of the stock.
11) Generates the required reports for project management and site execution team related to materials/resources.
12) Rectifies the minor hardware/software issues at sites, in liaison with HO IT department.
13) Liaison with HO IT dept. /Material coordinator makes sure that the stock has been properly updated in the store
and randomly checks the stock list in coordination with concerned supervisor.
14) Produces all required reports required for the Audit team as a part of Audit procedures.
15) Provides necessary information to the project team/material coordinator for preparing the reconciliation statement.
16) The stock is being updated regularly in stock register and Axpert.
17) The material issue slip is cross checked with the actual consumption at site.
18) Scrutinize the site return materials and sorts out the materials which can be added in to the stock and the materials
which need to be disposed as scraps.
19) Shall be responsible to intimate Purchase coordinator & accounts department on acceptance of invoice and book
for the payment in Axpert.
20) Shall be responsible to hand over the original invoice to the auditor for his certification and verifies the same after
the certification.
21) Shall maintain a register or log of the invoices and the shall have backup data of any invoice related transaction
available.
22) Under the general supervision keeps stock records, receives, stores and issues materials, supplies, tools etc loads
and unloads the materials.
23) Shall ensure that the safety and housekeeping of the store and camp premises are properly maintained
24) Trains and advises store assistants in materials handling procedures and in the operation of equipment used.
25) Shall keep track of the visitors to the site every day.
