Job Description :
Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years experience in welding inspection.
The technical qualification requirements are:
- CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector OR
- AWS Certified Welding Inspector AND
- CSWIP/ASNT/PCN Radiographic Interpretation Level 2
The candidate should be able to perform the following:
- calibration on all inspection equipment
- revise work instructions
- prepare new work instructions/procedures as well as inspection and test plans to suit working processes
- control of non conforming products
- provide resolution expertise on QC issues
- update API and NS standard requirements
- ensure work is performed in accordance with both the applicable standards, procedures and work instructions
- conduct verification of work performed by QC inspectors
